It isn't until you're willing to stand outside of what you currently are, what you're currently doing what you're currently digesting that you'll even have the slight chance of getting to your destination.
We've heard it all before, "carpe diem" or "Seize the day". Who actually lives by this philosophy though? People who have succeeded and continue to do so that's who. One of the reasons why it sounds so cheesy is due to the increasing lack of action and accountability to actually live for something and not merely exist. Here's some everyday realistic examples of how you can live with a little more freedom.
So things aren't going the way you want and it sucks but the good news is TODAY that all changes. The solution is letting things go. Things will never fall into place in your life if you fill in the gaps with ridiculous efforts and wasted actions. Let's be honest, people are sometimes hard-headed and set in their ways we all are in some sense. The ONLY way to change the future is to change the present but how exactly do you go about getting what you want? Here's a start..
A friend of mine reached out to me stating she had given up on her job. It was clear she had gone through the same dead inside, soul sucking, rat race issues that I unfortunely found myself quite comfortable with not too long ago. I sent her a letter of my experience and showed her how I used my current issues to solidify my mindset that I CAN, WILL and MUST get through it. Hopefully it will inspire and motivate you as well.
How can you ever give 100% in anything with even 1% thought of failure? The danger with a back up plan is you risk setting yourself up for an unfulfilling lifestyle. Quite often we're told by our parents especially if you want to do something outside of working at a desk... "make sure you have something to fall back on". As if you already failed or might fail. Where's the motivation???
The quickest way to dropping the dead weight long term is to define what's major and what's minor. Determine if you're majoring in minor tasks that do not align with your end goals or minoring in the major key factors that will drive you to your destination.
After watching the recent video of Alton Sterling's death and witness my facebook feed flooded with this story and the hope for "change". I MUST bring some things to light... If we break the cycle we can break the system but we'd rather kill each other than impregnate justice.
Saying you'll do something "as soon as possible" is almost just as good as simply saying "It'll get done when it get's done" what in the world does this even mean?? This leaves you with no concrete evidence or confidence that anything will get accomplished.
More often than not when it comes to goals there are only two types of people. Climbers or hikers, the perception can be applied to the workforce, relationships or any goal one may have. The concept is rather simple..
Believe it or not with the internet and a solid but consistent drive, creating money out of thin air is actually not as difficult as it seems. All it requires is a reorganization of your thoughts and the way you handle and plan out your daily activities.
Not everyone has the pleasure of a home office. With so many distractions and obligations it only makes sense to place your mind in a non dysfunctional environment. Listen up, nothing will work unless you make it work. Think there's no opportunity? CREATE ONE!
Rock bottom isn't the end all. It doesn't even have to be a "setback" perhaps it's a "set up" for great things. Why think negatively when the future isn't here yet? Where's your mind at? Let's focus and get back on track. You'll always be what you set yourself up to be mentally.
